I believe that about Nostr as well. This is the golden age of Nostr, when a small percentage of high-level people, seeking more from life than most, gathered to share our lives and our thoughts for reshaping the future.
Unfortunately, you can't reshape human nature. We're bound by those limits.
You can have a small group of excellence, or a large group of average, but by definition you can't have both.
I love this small group of excellence. I'll stay as long as it lasts, and if it comes to an end, we'll build a new one and start a new golden age.
Nostr isn’t fighting for attention in the attention economy. It’s building sovereignty in the sovereignty economy.
Every protocol that can be captured will be captured. Every platform that can be sold will be sold. But you cannot acquire what has no owner, cannot corrupt what has no center, cannot silence what has no throat to choke. This is why excellence clusters here in this brief golden window, the people who arrive early to unstoppable things are the ones who understand that freedom isn’t a feature request. It’s an architecture.
We’re not early to a product. We’re early to a principle that will keep shapeshifting long after this particular golden age fades, because the idea of uncapturable communication is older than Rome and younger than tomorrow.
