I find it both fascinating and surprising how much of the publishing world (including posts and podcasts) is increasingly synchronized daily, with ideas starting with a thought leader on one end of the world and ending with a poll among the people on the other within 24 hours. I admire people who take the time to breed their own ideas to fruition. And I need to remind myself to be more critical of what I read, even if it sounds compelling at first: do I really want to read, digest, and adopt it? Or do I let it pass?
