If you extend a straight line from Stonehenge’s Altar Stone westward across the Atlantic Ocean, it intersects precisely with the stone marking the summer solstice sunrise alignment at America's Stonehenge in Salem, New Hampshire.

This can be demonstrated through Google Earth.

At America's Stonehenge, ancient observers used a central Watch Tower and surrounding stone markers to track the sun. On the summer solstice, the sun rises in alignment with a specific marker.

This same line of sight, extended across the Atlantic, intersects the Altar Stone at Stonehenge in England.

A line directly westward would mean they have the same latitude, which they don't. If they don't mean "directly westward" then they just mean at some angle vaguely to the west, which makes this a meaningless tautology equivalent to "America's stonehenge is located to the west of Stonehenge" which is true of any two points on the earth which don't share the same longitude. Maybe I'm missing something.

Doesn't that make sense though, if they're both marking the solstice? To me that seems like saying a city on the equator can be tracked around the globe to another that's also on the equator. But I dunno much about stonehenge tbh

Please excuse me if my first post was difficult to understand

I hope the second post explains it better but I will try again

What is important to understand is that America Stonehenge is a circle of rocks

There’s a Watch Tower in the middle, and from there, you can tell which day of the year it is by looking where the sun rises or sets

On the day of the summer solstice, the viewpoint from the Watch Tower to rock that marks the sunrise on that day leads all the way to the Altar Rock at the Stonehenge site in England
