I did it. I "safe harbored" my corn in a zip file containing a signed document and time-stamped it to cryptographically prove I signed it before January 1st. Now what? Wait for them to harass me with an audit? These rules are so unclear.

Which document did you download and sign?
I used the initial one of the two Matt Kratter showed on his video (and in the description) from cryptotaxgirl.
I also used CSV files instead of PNG screenshots, since it was easier for me to just export that, especially from Sparrow Wallet transaction export. I had to make a CSV of my Ocean mining payments too, and consider it a "hosted wallet."
Hmm, I didn’t realize we could export the transactions from sparrow. Thanks for sharing that. So, couldn’t we manage all of this from sparrow as well then?
Provided you have, for every relevant account, the private key or xpub or wallet descriptor to import into Sparrow that describes it, then yes. I wasn't able to use Sparrow for my Ocean revenue that's not paid out on chain yet.
So like, most hosted wallets won't have such a thing you can plug into Sparrow.
Thanks kev. Diving into all of this now just came across bitcoin.tax as well as a tool. Watching this now
why ?
Talking with my wife about this. Stupid, but this is the price we pay for ever buying KYC. Turns out the surveilance discount was never worth it.
