I definitely believed the propaganda about bitcoin for a long time. Sad.

The difficult part is that folks don’t seem to care about freedom. I don’t think that the average citizen wants the personal responsibility that comes with freedom. They would rather put trust in an untrustworthy government than in themselves. If they fail while the government is their ruler they can blame the government. Slandering the people instead of the cause is a common and effective tactic, as you unfortunately know all too well.

Understanding the personal responsibility angle is the biggest difference I see between a teenage anarchist and an adult anarchist.

Years back I was very into gun culture. Concealed carry got me reading about non aggression principle and the philosophy there. From there it was an easy jump to realize that most of what my government does I don't consent to and if I simply did nothing they would harm me to get their way. It was probably all the usual suspect scifi, Orwell and Heinlein and so on, that saved me from the Republican simping that most gun nuts end up doing.

I wonder how many native born Americans could pass a constitution exam? Not many I would guess and this is by design.

This is why our forefathers never gave education as a power to any branch of the government.

We have been brained washed to trust our government but only a few have woken up to realize the government is totally captured by the FED and corporations.

911 didn't wake people of up. It appears COVID may have awoken a few people up. Bitcoin has awoken thousands of people.

I wonder what it is doing to take to wake up the majority.

Most people are "comfortable" with their lives, and want the simple "easy button" way...and that means believing in the government, and that it has things under control.

After all, they give you "free stuff" right?
