Perhaps. Probably. A bit.
Or they have simply bought into the idea that women aren't qualified to do any task unless they can do it like a man would do it, so they demand that women are physically and emotionally even through the month.
Even pressuring women use chemical contraception without a break, so that their menstrual cycle completely disappears.
The logic goes
Men are good workers.
Women who want to work should be more like men.
So that those women can also be good workers.
There are, unfortunately, still people around, who think that women are merely lesser editions of men, rather than something created perfect in its own right.
I recently learned women on hormonal birth control don't have menstrual cycles, but when they cycle to the placebo pill the blood that isreleased is actually a withsrawal symptom, not eggs being flushed out.
Are symptoms similar to real menstruation? Or does this withdrawal lead to more pain?
