Dude gamin has been dead for ages. Corporate shenanigans took away the freedom of allowing people just to create things, take risks,innovate and make cool shit. Its disheartening. I remember going to buy a new game and there were just SO MANY games to choose from. Now its all blockbuster triple A nonsense copy pasta that doesnt do anything outside of the lines in ordsr to best align with investors fiduciary duties.

This is why i kept my Playstation ps2 and og xbox as well. I WOULDVE had my sega too had my mother not made me throw it away all those years ago. I knew that would come back to huant me years later.
You can also get emulators for N64, PS2, SNES, etc etc so you can play all the games for free. Old games are expeeeeensive to buy.
There's an annoying trend of basically games being interactive movies, which is ok, but not when it seems to be everything. There are some exceptions of good recent/recentish games tho. From Soft, obviously. Alien Isolation, Prey. I'm sure there's a handful more but really not v much sadly:(
