Welcome to Android :)
Install graphene.
There is a question if Graphene of Lineage ðŸ¤
The hardest choice 💯
The choice is actually quite easy: LineageOS isn't really a valid choice if you're after security and privacy. It substantially rolls back security and somewhat reduces privacy compared to the Android Open Source Project.
LineageOS's goal is to provide features and OS updates to as many phones as possible. They do that at the expense of security and privacy.
So, if you care about security, privacy, you should use GrapheneOS. If you don't, you should use LineageOS.
Graphene is dope. Sad I can't use it with my work profile.
Thanks G, seems like I should try Graphene.
When I was wondering back the days, what open source project I should I stall to my android phone i actually went through this video on YouTube-
https://youtu.be/4To-F6W1NT0?si=Au83ogbhmlPbZWG0
NGL it kinda made me think twice.
Maybe there is someone new in their lead team?
I ran lineage/cyanogenmod for years. When i ran it, it was second to none in terms of features, in large part to being rooted.
Today I've been on graphene for a year and was on calyx for years before that.
As a daily driver I'd recommend graphene over lineage in a heartbeat if you own a pixel.
Put unfiltered global feed on the back screen, so everybody can enjoy.
Seems like a dangerous, expensive device... But cool
Do people actually use these?
Seems so inconvenient to me…
This is so nice
