Bitcoin is also the only "global" financial system.
In current times we have a global reserve currency and we want bitcoin to become that global reserve currency. There will never be only one money. Not everyone will adopt bitcoin.
Bitcoin however is already the global reserve DIGITAL CURRENCY.

The fiat paradigm only services a portion of the world, with most of the world cut-off in fragments.
In terms of reserve currency use, thats just the good ole western method of resource domination.
I agree. The fiat system is exploitative in nature. It is structured to ensure the flow of real resources from fiat-poor, but resource-rich countries to the Cantillon countries; the ones who print the “reserve currencies” at will, and use them to their maximum advantage.
Yeah, its just most people are describing the western monetary system - not *the* global one.
I believe its a nice semantics move for us.
