Time for a little refresher on the Economics of the national divorce from the Mises Institute.

Someone tag Jeff Deist and see if there's any update coming for 2024.

that would be super cool if the #mises crowd came to #nostr

I think those older guys are too conservative for that. Goldbugs and boomers.

But who knows, the younger ones should rejoice over the idea of private banking, zapping, p2p commerce. They were all over *using* Bitcoin in ~2012-2013.

And the libertarian ranks might be growing lately with the popularity of podcasts, Milei, Dave Smith, ..., Austrian Economics, ..

uncle bob came to nostr

he's an oldie too!

Uncle Bob has the pioneer spirit.

he's even building a client!

It is possible to be both a goldbug and pro-Bitcoin. Mises' Human Action helped me recognize the potential of Bitcoin, e.g. subjective valuation, supply and demand of money, and the theft that is inflation.

i read human action before i heard of bitcoin, back in 2010

Jeff Deist is no longer with the Mises Institute as of March, 2023 and Thomas DiLorenzo is the new President as of October, 2023.
