There’s a book called mindset by carol dweck. She talks about how instilling the growth mindset by teaching kids to enjoying challenges is best. When children are taught they’re special or smart face a challenge, they give up because the challenge damages their self esteem. But if they’re taught to look at challenges as a fun way to solve a problem, then their self esteem grows with every challenge they overcome.
