-THE BITCOIN BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

Let’s talk about the incredible Meymand Troglodyte Village in Iran, a place that obliterates the notion of what we consider “ancient.” This isn't just any village; this is a jaw-dropping settlement that's been around for an astonishing 12,000 years!

Nestled near Shahr-e Babak in Kerman Province, it flaunts a staggering 350 hand-dug rock houses – some of which have reportedly been lived in for over 3,000 years.

Can you even wrap your head around that? These aren’t just any old rocks; they carry the weight of history with stone engravings that span nearly 10,000 years and pottery remnants over 6,000 years old.

This village is a living testament to resilience, thriving in a brutal, arid climate that would make most people give up and flee for their lives. Yet, around 100 bold residents remain, preserving a language steeped in ancient Sassanid and Pahlavi roots.

It’s a place that challenges our understanding of culture, perseverance, and what it means to truly live in harmony with history.

Who knew there were still troglodytes around!

There are troglodytes living in central Australia too. I have been there and visited Coober Peedy. Amazing
