Since it is a client that connects to relays when you open it and no background connection is there. I am not sure it would come in future.

But maybe they figure it out.

Maybe it'll be possible to connect some self hosted notifications application from our client that will send us the new events notificatications ?

I found a workaround. I have my account logged in Snort on phone (installed it as an app from chrome) and then allow it to send notifications. When I get the notifications I open Amethyst.

Nice workaround thanks ! Maybe Iris can do the same i'll check
