BITCOIN IS GOOD FOR BUSINESS

Our golf company, KNG Golf, makes custom genuine leather golf headcovers.

*along with a line of golf apparel

We have been accepting bitcoin for two years now. Litecoin for the first year 😬

In 2023 we had around 20 sales in bitcoin. Zero prior to that.

We started putting our bitcoin address on invoices with an incentive of 8% discount for people who paid in bitcoin.

Love this; I want to use Bitcoin more for retail purchases but am not sure I can be bothered if every “purchase” is considered a taxable event. I need to look into this more. Know any CRA friendlies who can shed some light?

😂 very wise, I am sure. I mean my reticence to find out means I am stacking harder, I guess, but I would rather be a participant in the alt-economy. On the to-do list for the year.
