You -> Obscura -> Mullvad -> Website

Obscura sees your IP but not your destination or request.

Mullvad sees your destination but not your IP or request.

Website sees your request but not your IP.

I sorta grasp that. Mulvad still offering its own separate vpn service, outside this partnership yes? If so, is it inferior? Just curious, not trying to make any point

I think it is inferior but it will always have a market for those who don't need or care about obscura's solution.

Obscura could be a bit slower, since we are adding hops into the request flow.

My experience with VPN is bad. I can never get certain things to load properly and I have to keep switching the servers. Not sure if obscura can help with that or even allow me to switch exit node servers.

Will keep an ear out and maybe use it for my next VPN when my mullvad runs out.

Oh yeah, obscura does something (I didn’t follow what exactly) that is supposed to help with certain areas blocking vpns, so that’s cool
