Simplicity. Pubky tries to solve the indexing problem of where to find people's data from the web of servers out there. Nostr just deffers that to a NIP.

Finding which server has which event is a massive computer science problem. Nostr solves it by using relay hints of where things could be. Pubky uses a DHT protocol underneath.

Does the distributed hash table approach completely solve the problem?

What’s preventing nostr from adopting dht? No appetite for more complexity trade offs? Or is it more a consensus thing?
