Yeah. I'm happy if nostr just becomes a niche platform for freedom minded folks.
At least it can splinter us into a safe haven for freedom lovers vs the controlled platform which will gather the NPC:s and authoritarian communist lovers. It will be a big brain drain, as they won't be able to compete with a free market.
It might also have a chilling effect on the authoritarians, ie. Musk open sourcing the algorithm etc.
Eventually you ll be viewed as dissidents /terrorists undermining the power of the state. The state has a monopoly on violence. Not everyone is willing to commit to that.

Besides, how is it hard to create a whole bunch of free relays as a honeypot and find these people's IP? Not everyone is tech savvy enough to hide their identity and won't bother to. Especially not if the state threatens them. It need to get a whole lot more ugly before you move the masses.
