The drama-seeking part of me wants the trial of #Trump to be televised, but I’m not convinced it would be a good thing.

Do we want the heightened states of passion the media would create surrounding the outcome?

The main argument for it—public access—doesn’t really persuade me that live video is necessary as opposed to other less sexy modes of access.

And the main argument against it seems compelling. This trial must be untainted and fair so the outcome is not in doubt.

But yeah, of course I want to watch the color drain from his face live in 4K UHD as they find him guilty on all counts.

I *am* someone who led a fake cursing of him prior to the 2020 election under a Blood Moon which fell on Halloween.

And no one can prove that it was decisive in the end… 😉
