Law Review (and law school broadly) really, really overstates the importance of proper grammar and citation in the practice of law.

I don’t trust corporations not to kill people; I don’t trust the government to investigate them; and I don’t trust the media or news to report it accurately.
Which is probably why people are okay entertaining that idea that #Boeing may have killed the #whistleblower.
I don’t think there’s an issue investigating suspiciously-timed suicides of those testifying as key whistleblowers against corporations who are or have ties to major defense contractors.
I think it would be malpractice not to.
For those who found me today, I figured I could do a short #introduction
I am a municipal attorney, so professionally a potpourri of different law, but my personal interests lie in structural constitutional law, national security law, and 4th Amendment law.
I post a lot on politics and my opinions, which are plentiful and subject to change with new information.
So feel free to engage (respectfully + kindly), especially if you disagree, it's how I figure out what I believe.
Also: Puppy pics.

“Money sent home by migrant workers is a lifeline for millions of Mexicans. But the woman had never met the person who wired her the funds, nor the owners of the accounts where she took the cash. What she did know: The deal had been carefully arranged by the Sinaloa Cartel, one of the world’s largest drug trafficking groups, to repatriate profits from U.S. drug sales back to Mexico disguised as a routine remittance.”

Good battlefield news continues to come out from #Ukraine, which is now estimated to have achieved “breakthrough” in four areas of Russian defense.
Slow, but Ukraine is adapting and making headway after a rough and slow slog from the onset.
And on the flip-side, poor economic news continues to come out from #Russia, with the ruble’s value sliding and extraordinary measures by Russia not seemingly able to stave it off.
I think we are seeing a lot of evidence that there was a massive criminal conspiracy in 2020 to overthrow the legitimate American government and install an unelected dictator with the threat of military force being deployed.
And every single one of them deserves to end up in prison.
This is the kind of legal violation where you don’t simply throw the whole book at them, you publicly beat them with it so thoroughly that no one else ever tries again.

I mean… what else was there to do all day?

I know I’m probably just a biased PuppyPapa, but I’ll never get over how beautiful Mayhem is 😍

But yeah, of course I want to watch the color drain from his face live in 4K UHD as they find him guilty on all counts.
I *am* someone who led a fake cursing of him prior to the 2020 election under a Blood Moon which fell on Halloween.
And no one can prove that it was decisive in the end… 😉

The drama-seeking part of me wants the trial of #Trump to be televised, but I’m not convinced it would be a good thing.
Do we want the heightened states of passion the media would create surrounding the outcome?
The main argument for it—public access—doesn’t really persuade me that live video is necessary as opposed to other less sexy modes of access.
And the main argument against it seems compelling. This trial must be untainted and fair so the outcome is not in doubt.
