This was a deep cut! Needed to hear this for some balance!

95% of what he says is spot on. But he is dangerously glossing over the fact that there is a problem of rape gangs inside India and Pakistan, He's correct that this is not an Islamic issue, True Islam absolutely abhores such actions! and true Islam does know how to deal with these issues, even if some states are run by corrupt, complicit individuals. But it is not exclusively a western problem either, to say so is to turn a blind eye on global incidents of gang rape, which absolutely exist, especially in Pakistan and India. But I agree with his commentary on western sex culture as depraved.

The unfortunate reality of this topic is that reliable data is incredibly hard to come by due to stigmatisation in many countries of the victims and barriers to reporting due to societal structures.

What is your definition of “it’s a problem”, because this is what I found so far. It doesn’t look like there is a ‘relative problem’ in Pakistan and India. Bangladesh is pretty close by UK is still more than 5x more than the UK, with the uk being more than 15x more than Pakistan.

This information is very damning and disgusting, even if we give a wide margin of error for unreported cases in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, it doesn't look good for the UK!

I was referring specifically to the current rise in gang rape however, not all rape. All rape is evil, should not be dismissed, and should be punished harshly, but gang rape falls into a new level of darkness, cowardice and predation. I would like to see comparative data specifically around gang rape if it is available.

The issue I have with the ‘unreported cases’ is that it’s not just unreported in the east while all being reported in the west. Just as not everything falls in the net in Pakistan I’m sure not all falls in the net in the west, but even with what does, it’s extremely high. So if we say that at least ‘half’ in both sides are not being reported, that literally means that the uk is at the least 100-200 per 100,000, and Pakistan would be 4-6 per 100,000. Even if we inflated things in Pakistan and made it like 10x more, that’s still less than half the UK.

The point is, I think the point being made in the video is still sound and valid. It’s not US who have the problem, it’s the west. Yes, crime happens everywhere, but as a woman you’re more safe in Pakistan surrounded by Pakistanis than in the UK. That’s my main takeaway

Yeah, no matter how we look at it and twist the numbers which you clearly presented, it is damning for the UK either way.

It was eye opening (or ear opening?) to hear this guys take on the topic and to see that he backed his video up with sources in the description. Do you know who he is? is it his youtube channel or they reposted his speech?

Maybe you're right about being safer in Pakistan 🤷🏻‍♂️ the statistics at least look that way.

Yeah, I’ve been following his account for years now. Life changing things I’ve heard from it. Check out his many years of video posting. It’s hard to find something objectionable.

My position is quite clear on this. Every Muslim country, minus those plunged into war by external bodies, are safer and better than the west. Hijrah remains the best option in my opinion.

Just for further context it’s even worse that the US and South Korea. So the Muslim countries seem to ALL be safer than the UK BY FAR.
