I think about a lot these days. They predicted that many of the government entitlements will break and people will protest.
Many people are in denial, but we're watching it happen in real time and it's only getting worse.

There's a saying, you don't break the law, the law breaks you. When people have given up their autonomy and competency through their dependence upon the government doll as a way of life, they are buying the lie that they are incapable of learning what they need to learn to provide for themselves, and that the government is responsible for keeping them alive.
So, when the government goes insolvent because it can't buy votes through money printing anymore, the natural law that both government and civilians have been breaking through their Faustian and codependent relationship will break both groups, and the pain and poverty that has been fostered through this relationship will come out in very messy ways., i.e. riots and screams of entitlement.
Tom Cruise once said, "Don't be careful. Be competent." Even though he said this in the context of doing stunts for a Mission Impossible movie, it also applies here. There's a reason it's important to be competent, because it can lead to a person being able to not only survive, but thrive, while also having a respectful intrapersonal relationship with themselves, and being able to pass on that respect to the people around them. If we add character to competence, by consistently telling the truth kindly, then we have an individual who contributes to people and leaves a legacy.
What a massive difference it makes between those people who select incompetence and lack of character as a way of life, and those who select competence and character as a way of life. The former leads to hell, the latter leads to Heaven.
