Prolly sending from a popular trading app, robinhood, webull, cashapp, Coinbase

Most have one of those already if they’re on here.

Then simply transfer assets to wallet of satoshi

That’s the easiest I would say

#[2] Bitcoin sent into #[3] can be converted in app to Lightning?

Yes it happens automatically. All funds in your Wallet of Satoshi are spendable both on lightning and on chain

Ok wow this is really quite great, and great to know.

Really taking the cake as the runabout spending wallet. πŸ‘ŒπŸ°

What is the specific technical reason why #[3] is custodial?

Without worrying about KYC? Any wallet that has moonpay integration. It's a pretty frictionless service. Wallet of Satoshi does. WoS isn't very secure though so make sure you teach them not to store large balances in it. For larger balances like 300k sats or more use a more secure non-custodial wallet like Edge.

Thanks so much.

Will look to KyCuck to WoS and go from there.

Why is MoonPay not available in countries like the Philippines?

Just find a friend with sats who needs a little cash and is willing to part with the btc in order to encourage them...

A friend indeed!πŸ˜πŸ‘

Appreciate the sentiment, I started my search down this line of inquiry to help a festival organizer be able to move merch and not suffer the likes of PayPal.

Hoping for as scalable and frictionless as possible solutions.

I saw this recently at the local grocery store... Haven't tried it, don't know if KYC or not...

I tried it at my Safeway here. It was absolutely the worst buying Bitcoin experience I have ever had, and I've been doing this for a long time. The fees are atrocious.

https://payday.strike.me/?kid=1NBSPZ is where I buy my bitcoin now.

Thanks very much for the first person user report!πŸ™πŸ˜πŸ‘
