Did you use multiple clients? Which ones?
#Damus, #Primal and #Nostur. Mostly Damus.
That may be the reason -- when switching clients if it's reading an old follow list, and then you add a follow, that old list will be updated wiping out your actual follows.
Good thing is you have Nostur
It has a feature to restore follows that you can use....
Again, I had almost same number on all apps. And never happened before. And I see almost same issues on other accounts
I get totally different numbers from every one of the clients I use. Some are way high and some are way low.
