Some of you using the wallet that rate limits you (will remain nameless šŸ˜) are missing out on zaps cause you are being stopped from receiving them.

Everyone should just get a nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjygpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcpzamhxue69uhky6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp066595x wallet, it can be linked to any client or app that supports NWC for instant payments and very low fees. Plus it's fast.

Try it.

Do you happen to know if Primal wallet rate limits?

Also, how does one find out if a wallet rate limits?

They do:

So this is really only a problem if one receives a lot of zaps. Correct?

I think (assume) the reason Primal rate limits is because, and most likely its not Primal rather, their wallet is provided by Strike…its basically a white label.

So maybe it is Strike that limits it due to regulations they have to abide by?

I don’t really know. The other time I’ve run into failed zaps is when someone doesn’t have a wallet connected and/or the associated node is down.

So this "Unable to send zap" thing... I remember a couple users have noted this and shown similar screenshots... do you know for sure this is rate limiting issue? I thought it was some kind of incompatibility specifically between Amethyst and Primal addresses.... how do you know it's a rate limit?

I'm not sure, but I've talked to many primal users who have stated it was, or that it could have to do with their partner strike.

I would be interested to know, if anyone from the primal team can inform me why this happens.

I like yo spam zap people sometimes for fun, everyone else it works using my Rizful, but primal I can only zap them once then need to wait a minute or so to zap them again.
