Called and had mine replaced with a warm orange light.
Much better that the LED junk!

Already drove by the section they had them installed on, but I’ll try to remember to grab a shot next time I go by. Maybe tomorrow
I work in street lighting and chances are these are defective LEDs. Big problem because there are so many lights to replace and it takes time to get to all of them.
They're not purple intentionally. They are failed LEDs.
I believe it's for the glare.
Are drug users allowed in public areas by you? Drove businesses near me to install special purple lights that made it hard to find veins. Maybe that's the reason?

They are defective lights. We had them here in Vancouver for a while a couple of years ago.
Handy. You can spot fake fiat while on the go.
Red or orange would have been a better choice. I saw one city from the air that was covered in purple, and down in Florida there are purple intermixed with white like they’re replacing the white with the purple.
