Did you ever watch The Last of Us?

While everyone else was complaining about the blatantly inaccurate geography in the third episode, nostr:npub17meshv2lg6rfyuwzgh349yslllq7aathd55xu0jgjns2ayz6rt2seplm8u was yelling at the TV about the inaccurate science in the opening sequence.

“That’s a slime mold, not a fungus! They’re not even in the same phylum!” 😂🍄🧟‍♂️

hahahaah

This will be my wife during the fungus apocalypse.

Thus is true. Slime molds are not fungi! Not in the same kingdom. But they are very photogenic. And interesting in their own right.

slime mold is a miracle. theorically can use it to terraform new planets

I’ll let my wife know how important they are when she nags at me to bleach the shower.

Dude, once we found actual mushrooms growing on a piece of rotting wood along the bottom of our sink cabinet next to the shower. I was horrified. She was fascinated. That’s life living with a mycologist for you.

I found it very interesting then wanted immediately to bleach the heck out if it. It’s a both/and.
