not really, it takes some time to get used to it but wouldn't go back if you paid me

Jumped from Samsung to Pixel with grapheneOS(cause f u spyware). Its amazing. Never owned an IPhone so not very helpful in this regard :-)

Thanks. I was thinking about making a switch potentially for using graphene. Can you reflash back to stock os if you want?

Of cause you can.

Sure you can. Follows this dude and his tutorials. It helped me a lot on my #grapheneOS journey.

I was iphone long time user, but now I'm on Pixel with grapheneOS. I don't regret.

Have you run into any apps you want to use but can't or that don't work well? I have been looking at this option but I'm worried I might be too limited.

You can use #grapheneOS with sandboxed Google play services. All legacy apps work fine.

No. The Aurora Store allow you to run everything that is normally only available on play store. For some apps you have to issue the sandboxed play store that is included into graphene. So far no problems but I close to no big tech apps so I don't know if I'm a good benchmark here

I did this with pixel 1, and I never went back.

Fuck everything NPCs use.

Graphene too or just google ecosystem?

I have calyx on my pixel 3XL

Need to try graphene still.

I have another android, one plus 8pro, Ive been waiting for it to break to get a new pixel & go full time calyx or graphene...but it seems to be indestructible 😂.

Have both iPhone and Google Pixel. They’re both great options. Fairly comparable. I do still prefer iOS though on the margin

I was thinking about changing providers and I would keep my iPhone most likely. So if I wanted I could move the sim back and forth I suppose.

Yep - It’s nice having both so you can test Android only apps like Amethyst, as well as iOS only apps like Damus

You keep the pixel google or change it?

For now I’ve kept the Google OS. Curious to try Graphene OS but haven’t yet.

Get a OnePlus bro!

My wife has a pixel. It's alright but my go to has been the last generation OnePlus. Pick whichever gen has the features you like best anything 7 Pro and up should be fine. I'm currently on a OnePlus 9 and it's fantastic. I came from a 7 Pro and it was still fine just worn after 2.5 years.
