The difference between Bitcoiners, and Monero users is that Bitcoiners can't tell people they use Bitcoin because it poses real risk, and harm to their families if their wallet address ever gets exposed.

Monero users can talk about Monero openly because no one will know how many monero you have, same for cash.

You could say oh, I have $100, I have $1 dollars but common day people won't know the real depth of your wealth.

You could have 3 Monero to spend, and 300 Monero at home, no one would know.

But you could have $1,000 of bitcoin to spend, and 1 Bitcoin at home, and everyone would know if you ever attached your retirement, and spending Bitcoin together without privacy obfuscation tools.

the cool part about Monero is you could have confirmed your transaction 18 blocks ago and then it could be reversed by Qubic

Block reorganizations can also happen on Bitcoin too.

Bitcoin, and Monero both share the same vulnerabilities on PoW, so either you think PoW is flawed, or you accept that it's the better system, and has it trade-offs.

Monero Devs are exploring solutions to further secure PoW but a small minority have proposed a hybrid system, however last I read the general consensus was around improving PoW.

Yes, it *could* happen in Bitcoin too

I see Bitcoiners are now celebrating direct state attacks on POW chains. This is a new low.

celebrating ๐Ÿค”

Somebody, that's gonna rob you, right? All you need to do is talk about it. And I'm gonna rob you.

I can assure you that it's not worth your time to do that.

All I'm trying to tell you, is it doesn't matter if you tell me you have it. And I really want to rob you, I'll tie you down until you give me your password. And I send that monero over to my wallet. There is no difference in this situation with Bitcoin or monero. Both should just shut up and not say they have it.

The wrench doesn't care ๐Ÿ˜‚

So nobody should say anything or spend any money ever is what you're telling me because there are people who never get robbed because they never leave the house or spend money

How does that work? How do they stop the IRS from taxing them for the place they never leave?

I'm not going to go back and forth with you.Because you blow stuff out of proportion. If you can't understand that you have to be careful who you tell that you have Bitcoin. Then, I don't know what to tell you.

Basically, you should hide your Bitcoin holdings by not using Bitcoin too much, whereas Monero you can use without the same risk

Be smart with the bitty. Last thing monero for being so private their users aren't so private. Just saying. Tgey all will still get robbed. Monero user or bitcoin user both will get tied down and dobt with. Sooooo stop the shit.

It sounds like you don't want or believe in the dollar being replaced with a proof of work blockchain, you believe there will be a Nazi uprising that hunts down every user of hard money

Here you go, again blowing it out of proportion. You're lucky I'm making the coffee and about to roll up. And I'm bored.

I don't get what you're saying then

Careful. Youโ€™re gonna get told youโ€™re gaslighting him ๐Ÿคฃ
