Traveling overseas with a retired military man is a bit of an experience. It means I never have to open a hotel door ever again (or any door for that matter). He always goes inside first.

He checks if any of our stuff got moved among other things. Then secures the door when we're inside. It's all second nature to him.

I guess the man left the job, but the job never left the man.

So does it increase your value if you let a man open the door for you? And do you get more value points the more doors you don't open? πŸ€” I'm trying to recoup points lost for hanging with the guys tonight.

Have fun and enjoy your travels!

πŸ˜„ This is a good question! Should we ask Laser because I genuinely don’t know.

🀣 he might get his manties in a twist. We'll just pretend it does and that the points don't matter...like follower counts on nostr.

For some men being a soldier once, means a mindset of always a soldier.

It will probably never go away. Doing something for too long has consequences πŸ˜…

You're never going to be a strong independent woman living alone with 9 cats at this rate.

No, not at this rate. OR ELSE!

Yeah!
