Wait wait. You're telling me that you can present facual evidence around the abuse of ppwer, corruption and at the very least, incorrect rulings and their consequences but this is not enough to raise eyebrows? It must be turned into a popularity contest?
We can’t rely on a thought that debanking abuses are obvious.
They are not.
This was the exactly a problem, when we as Open Dialogue Foundation on behalf of BTC Coalition promoted amendments to #AML regulation in the #EU and revisions of #FATF travel rule recommendations in the #US.
Our amendments were rejected during trilog process simply because no voices from the business industry, including #bitcoin were with us. https://en.odfoundation.eu/a/725781,building-true-change-btc-coalition-submission-on-the-eu-proposal-for-a-regulation-on-the-prevention-of-money-laundering-or-terrorist-financing/
We need to join voices victims of the weaponized banking data transnationally and debanking victims from businesses representatives to eliminate such abuses !
This is one of the reasons why we want to establish FreedoTech Embassy to eliminate such practices and protect developers, end-users and investors of freedomtech!
Let’s do it together! 🧡
Discussion
No need to wait. Policymakers called it as “market failure”, “false positives”, just “some few examples of AML/CFT abuses”. But “majority of western citizens or businesses doesn’t suffer/doesn’t experience such problems”. So of there is no public discussion- no problem. No voices heard in the parliaments about abuses of AMl/CFT laws, - no need to establish remedies during legislative process.
