Joy for me is that first cucumber sandwich of the year on some fresh homemade herbed sourdough, onions, salt and pepper, and some homemade mayo.

Yum. Looks delicious. I am several weeks away from having cucumbers. I use flat sprinkler hose on a timer to water stuff when I am gone. It works okay once you figure out the right timing.
They do make automatic water timers that you can set time and duration. Hook that bitch up to the hose and let it do it's thing.
