It's actually USA that has a credit system and you can't get loans etc. if you say the wrong things online.

"Social credit" system is for regulating corporations the same way that financial credit system is used for regulating normal people.

You don't think Chinese citizens have a social credit system that restricts their freedoms? That's not what I know.

Are your freedoms restricted in the US if you don't play by the rules? Yes, but we have way more freedoms than the citizens of China IMO.
