"Social credit" system is for regulating corporations the same way that financial credit system is used for regulating normal people.
You don't think Chinese citizens have a social credit system that restricts their freedoms? That's not what I know.
Are your freedoms restricted in the US if you don't play by the rules? Yes, but we have way more freedoms than the citizens of China IMO.
