I recommend against it for books. Podcasts are spontaneous so the information density is low. A well written book has as much density as a normal human can process.

So more than 1.5x you lose out.

Do you think you could go much higher with podcasts? I've noticed that with hosts I know I can go even higher.

Depends. If you are listening to me probably yes. If you are listening to somebody like Mark Friedrich, no chance.
