In a bid to not pay news outlets, #Meta has blocked #TheBeaverton, a satirical "fake news" website. Basically, a Canadian version of #theonion.

Honestly, #TheBeaverton really shouldn't be blocked, might as well block comedians off the platform if The Beaverton was blocked.

They should also consider jumping on to the #fediverse.
