the difference is bitcoin is actually self reliant. if google just stops allowing unlocking the bootloader, grapheneos (as it exists today) dies for newcomers

We hope to have this launched in 2026 or 2027. Pixels are currently the only devices meeting our hardware security and other requirements which are listed at https://grapheneos.org/faq#future-devices but there will be other options.
