group me? seriously?

Right? Like, wtf!

i have never met anyone who uses group me. Zero

also wtf is life 360 lol

Ugh. There's a really cool homeschool group we want to join up with that uses it. It uses the Play Integrity API, so I'm trying to explain to these people that I literally CAN'T install it. I'm going to try to do a basic privacy presentation with them.

FYI, if you homeschool, you will also be utterly alone if you aren't on facebook. There isn't a single group around here that even has a working website.

@GitCitadel will fix this not too eventually. It's been discussed extensively. Private community relays will enable this in a seemless, secure way, and it will be easy to plug in curricula from any source. (Well, any source that isn't completely DRMd to death.)

That would be miles past what they're all doing now. None of the groups actually do any school stuff on these apps. It's just chatting and posting about meetups.

Gross. But sure. That's very possible.

i see. interesting.

I wonder if a hardened relay/client integrations is needed.

say our kids school, spin up a full relay + client that only parents can read write from after being verified.

"hardened" just means ... you know... AUTH. lol. which still isn't universally supported, and i know this for a fact because my relay is constantly being sent events by peers that don't understand this and just keep on hammering away anyway. *plugs ears* la la la i can't hear you ASSHOLE!

If i had designed bitchat this list would offend me
