Ever wonder how many bugs that get exposed like this are actually the result of intelligence agents from various govts, including our own, who purposefully add “natural looking” backdoors into software or systems?

Obviously the presence of bugs and security holes is frequent and unavoidable without any conspiracy… Occam’s Razor and all that. BUT, it’s not as if it’s made up that intelligence agencies do this, and they literally direct trillions of dollars toward infiltration and spying.

So I just wonder if in a batch of fixes like this, just 1 of those critical bugs was actually purposefully placed there by a CIA plant or something, and they are actually annoyed that it got found and fixed. 🤔😆
