Question...

I've never consolidated all my #Bitcoin UTXOs

This morning I ran a test transaction moving .01 BTC into a fresh unused address.

I see that the TX ID pulled sats from 4 of my old wallet addresses.

How does the Bitcoin blockchain work, unless specified, is this a First in First out UTXO system?

The blockchain doesn’t pick which UTXOs are part of a spend tx. Your wallet does. If you are going to consolidate, you should use a “wallet” that allows you to pick each UTXO. If you want to speak, DM me and I can provide a cell number to explain.

Ahh. I'm fked. I've not labeled my addresses over the years so it's basically just going result in a consolidation of a few traceable addresses if someone were to take the time to do the forensics.

I'm just a boring #Bitcoin HODLing shrimp 🍤 anyway.
