Is that one of those NCU devices? And if so, what brand/model? I’m curious what people use when they graduate from raspberry pi aka when it dies, which mine probably will Soon™️

Also love the passive cooling case you have there. Very badass looking 😎

The raspi may surprise you. I have had one running for a few years now. I upgraded to:

https://www.onlogic.com

This was recommended by nostr:npub1m5mr8y7wgvcufav43hgda376xsm0t5qrerur30m23ek6w8gmn88q9hympt and it has been a solid node.

Bookmarkid thanks, it’s zapathon time!! Also he mentioned once he has one running on an orange pi too which sounds interestinng

I like the Orange PI 5 but personally I wouldn't pick it as a anything other than a testing device. The OS choices are limited and while having the NVMe slot is 1000 times better than using a USB device for storage, it doesn't operate at full speed and it's only 3/4 length. Choose a nice Intel NUC, you'll be immensely happier with it.

BTW, when you logged in to that test machine to do a node recovery, it was the Orange PI, it's great for that kind of stuff, I was able to just nuke it when you were done without any worries.
