I think some of the worst offenders are the ones that say “I’ll pay sats to anyone who follows and reposts this.” It’s pretty obvious why they’re doing it. I’m happy to take their sats but I’ll unfollow fast af if they unfollow me 😂

Yeah for sure.
Some 🤡 last night was telling me i simp for sats because I engage the ⚡️threads to receive sats. Nostr is about sending and receiving sats. It’s fun and amplifies the ⚡️ network. I checked his account and it was all about how much sats he has and how receiving sats is beneath him.
The real simping is the sending sats for reposts and follows like you said. That to me is the garbage avenue to go.
I also unfollow the constant invoice requests with a heavy ratio of invoice to comments. I’m more than happy to send sats, but at the very least have some brain cells to engage.
