And also how entrenched the medical industry is in the business of treatment rather than prevention. Their education is biased to favour those who will benefit the most from regularly sick people.

Would you be surprised if we learned that the diseases are being created (NIAID / gain of function) so useless preventions can be mandated and paid for with taxpayer funds (Pfizer / Moderna / J&J) only to then have useless expensive treatments (Remdesivir / Ventilators) which do more damage and need further treatment in the long run whilst cheap generic treatment options (ivermectin / hydroxychloroquine) are banned from use?

Because after the last few years, I wouldn’t be..

The pharmaceutical industry taking pages from the military industrial complex? Would not surprise me at all.

Finding their forever wars in every facet of life. The eternal flu we have to always get boosted for. The impending threats from off-world species. An ever-present invisible boogeyman to keep us in perpetual fear.

I do have a very old-fashioned view about the practice of medicine. That is to say, go to the doctor when you have a bone poking through your skin and that’s about it. So I truly have no idea what goes on in medicine now.

Both my grandfathers were doctors, but they basically said “you’ll be fine” unless something was living in your ear or your airways were blocked and you had to get your kid on the phone with the doctor to do your own tracheotomy to breathe again, or you were giving birth in your car, or if a tractor had run over your head and inadvertently scalped you (all these things happened—and these folks all were fine in the end, “thanks doc!, can I pay you in a five gallon barrel of raw honey, I don’t have any money. Yes? Great!”).

It was a different time.
