Jealous of vision improving, not the slew of ailments haha

Had 2020 vision all life until sorta recently. What a pain in the ass. I complain about it all the time, yet never heard glass wearing people complain about it to me in the past. Surprisingly, given what a handicap it is

yeah, i've been going through that also. i'm kinda surprised that i'm recovering.

you might find that something you were eating or drinking was causing the problem, it's worth a look, because i am certain that's my issue.

in my case it's further complicated because i have celiac. the allergic reaction makes it worse.

It's still mostly for reading, which is a lot of what I do with my eyes these days, but distance is starting to blur a bit too. Annoying af. I'm always sitting down in a deep couch, only to shortly remember I need to get up and grab my glasses, etc. 😤

It came on pretty gradually and at an age where nothing seems suspect as a cause. Hoping it stabilizes in a year or so and then I'll consider lasik

well, idk what's in the food around you, but just that i know for sure this was the root of it for me.

i think probably eating fish helps vision, probably also liver, but in both cases obviously try to get the cleanest source you can. they feed everything with corn these days in europe and that is an allergen for me, the smell of it in the meats makes me sick. even the eggs, i can smell the corn in it. i have to somewhat overcook corn fed meat to tolerate it.
