An Egyptian taxi driver refuses to take a passenger after he bought alcohol from a shop in the Dokki area, Giza Governorate, Greater Cairo, and gave the passenger a one-star rating.

The driver says: “The customer told me to stop here so he could buy a drink. I thought he meant coffee, but I found myself in front of a liquor store. I asked him, ‘Are you going to buy alcohol?’ He said yes. I told him, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t continue the trip.’ He asked why. I told him, ‘The Prophet cursed alcohol and seven associated with it, including the one who carries it.’”

That is why I never identify with any Economic ideology although I am Libertarian leaning.

We follow the Quran and Sunnah in matters of the Dunya and Akhira, especially in matters of business.

الحمد لله

Yeah economic ideologies are moral laws so I hear ya. The Quran and Sunnah is all you need. The Austrian school of economics is the closest and there are no contradictions between it and Islamic finance.
