Doesn't Doggie have an inflation rate higher than BTC or something? I experimented with it on my cell phone a couple years ago, and it cost like 1 dollar to send 10dollars of the stuff.

Inflation yes, but that helps keep fees low for slow transactions and usually for priority transactions. The 1 dollar fee must have been a priority transaction during the big congestion spike a few years ago

Yeah congestion got really bad then. It was the one time doge was actually less usable for everyday purposes than Bitcoin. The network was so much smaller than the Bitcoin network it just couldn't handle the traffic
