Thank you so much for the reply- I can fully imagine that the kids are the worst offenders. They can be pretty nasty at times. My son's only nine, and although he's very used to losing his stuff 😂, he's pretty innocent, as we home school, so probably wouldn't cope too well with bigger kids swearing and giving grief! We might wait a few years.

Sataria sounds good though - I'm tempted to have a go myself 😊

I am having a blast in Sataria, for sure, even though I don't have any others regularly playing who are part of my city, yet.

It's definitely early, and the growing pains of normies not having many sats to buy things, and also not generally wanting to put in the effort to sell stuff to those who do have sats to spare, can definitely be felt.

I think it would definitely benefit from having some more Bitcoiners that are willing to throw around a few thousand sats.

Most things on the server are REALLY cheap, and the prices are entirely set by the players. We're talking fractions of a sat for most common items, because we have the ability to transact in millisats. It's the things that take work and time to gather that generally cost more. Like Obsidian is selling for around 4 sats a block right now.

9 years old is probably on the young side, even for our SMP. We homeschool our daughters as well, and the two oldest play on Sataria, but they are 15 and 13 respectively. My youngest occasionally plays on the SMP world, but she is 11, and usually doesn't build up enough stuff to feel like she lost a bunch of time and effort if she gets killed. She plays super casually.
