Yeah, I feel like his presidential run really changed everything about his focus and approach. He started forgetting who he actually was representing and fighting for I think. In 2017, a band I was playing with performed before a big rally he had in the state. It was eye opening to see him speak and engage with people shortly after his loss. He acted more like a major celebrity than someone who actually cared about each individual in the crowd like he had in years past. Vermont still loves him somehow but things are awfully slow to change in this little corner of the country.
