Ha! Was just chatting with a buddy of mine who plays in Billy’s band
Full photo of the LeBlond. I do a mix of metal and wood with it as I’m a banjo maker.

All my machine tools are manual which I love running but dreaming of a small CNC lathe someday. Can’t justify the cost currently. I have a CNC spindle router in my woodshop and rigged up a machinist vice so I have a cheater CNC mill at least when the manual one is too slow.
It’s a 1968 LeBlonde Regal 16” gear head. I got it from the original shop it shipped to in 1968. It treats me very well for everything I throw at it. I also have a pair of Hardinge lathes, an HLV-H and DSM-59. Those are quite the pair to have back to back!
A leader at war has a 65% approval rating. People must love dying for politicians who spend more time out of the country than in it. Who’s he polling exactly? 🙄
It’s just a matter of time before this really starts hitting hard. There will always be room for some to keep their jobs but just like CNC’s did for manufacturing, job rolls will shift and change. It’ll probably turn into a much smaller number of coders overseeing the code than actually writing it. Interesting times ahead.
My duo (US based) recently got an email from someone in Ireland saying they were listening to our music while giving birth. Absolutely unreal. Our music was the first thing that little human heard upon entering the world. 🤯
When you say anyone, is this *anyone* like you and me or is this anyone in the federal government?
I’ve heard this as well with wheat abroad but I’ve yet to have the chance to experiment myself. A few friends have first hand accounts of that experience so it’s very true. For me it seems to be all wheat that I can get here, organic or not. I’m not one but celiac is rampant in my family so it’s probably a slight variation of that.
I feel for you, I dealt with exactly your scenario for the majority of my life and was in and out of doctors and hospitals for 5-6 years in my late 20’s. After essentially the same experience you’re having and getting zero relief from treatments doctors tried, I took matters into my own hands and did exactly what you’re doing which led me to discover it was wheat. It’s a tough road figuring out GI issues, I have two close people in my life going through similar I’m helping out right now, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone having gone through it myself. Once I figured it out it completely changed my life in the best way possible. The challenge is worth the reward if you can find relief. Stick with it! You got this! 💪🏼
Thanks for the morning convo 👋🏼
One thing I’ve always found quite odd about it is that I suffered from horrible gut problems for the first 30 years of my life. Turned out it was wheat (or whatever passes for that in the US) causing a massive amount of inflammation in my body. Once I figured this out and got it under control is when my sleep patterns really locked into the 6 hour routine. I’d be curious to understand how it might be linked. I’m sure it has to do with your bodies way of handling inflammation but I’ve never done a deep dive.
This has actually been my whole
life so before screens were so prevalent but they certainly can affect it of course. Certainly not denying that’s a factor.
I’m a professional musician and also have a cat so getting consistent sleep is nearly impossible sometimes but when I’m home for longer stretches I always feel best.
It runs in my family as well, neither of my parents sleep very much either and never have.
It was a joke 😂 I’m one of those weirdos who does run best on 6 hours of sleep. Anything over 6 regularly makes me very groggy for the first half of the day. Every once in a while I’ll get a full 7-8 though and feel refreshed.
What kind of trees are we looking at? Your country is fascinating and its natural beauty is quite inspiring.
Is sleep really as necessary as we’ve been told? Or is it another tool to keep us down and less productive by robbing us of 8 hours a day? 😜
If that wick isn’t some serious bull market craziness I don’t know what is…

Incredible work!! Absolutely stunning 🙌🏼
Really enjoy your work, Tom! I can imagine it’s even more impressive in person 🙌🏼
If you have 300k of crypto accessible from your phone and have biometric security setup, you’re a moron and just asking to have it stolen.
Also, who goes to a strip club alone? It’s sad he was taken advantage of but this guy was just asking for pain from every angle. Emotionally, sexually, and financially. Some people really set themselves up for pain in this harsh world.
Who you surround yourself with is key to this as well. Nothing drives me crazier than people that try and hold you to who you were years in the past. Usually these are the people in your life holding you back the most. Curiosity, exploration, and especially failure and recovery from that failure are some of the most important parts of finding true joy and meaning from life.
