Yes it is extremely hard to convert people on belief.

Lead by example and if they follow, then so be it.

Ask him to define what a Ponzi scheme is and after ask him how fractional reserve banking works

Fiat is a ponzi and I bet your friend just loves it.

He’s a hard position and it feels that you’re interactions are hardening it more.

However, Bitcoin makes no promises about future return nor does it give any guarantees of anything.

So someone please explain to me how this is a ponzi.

Oof always a tough one to convert because they aren't necessarily wrong.

I usually go with, "yes you're right all money is a CONfidence game, but you need to understand where your confidence comes from".

With Bitcoin it's simple, beautiful, honest and transparent.

No one really knows where their confidence in paper comes from and confidence in gold can be superseded by physical might.

Everyone is so programmed to think I’m telling them they should buy bitcoin if I start talking about it, and they get surprised when I tell them it’s not about the investment, it’s about a money system that’s there when you need it. And remember it exists when CBDCs are here.
