It's always good to get these guys off the street, but I don't know how I feel about some rando setting people up for social media clout. Because that's what this is really about. It's just a vehicle to get more exposure and more engagement, which leads to more money. Generally, I don't like self-appointed vigilantes, and it's worse when they're capitalizing on a real problem for the sake of clout. I dunno, it just rubs me the wrong way.

If bsky can be a honey trap that takes paedos off the streets then I fully support that. Nostr has paedos too, but they're not getting caught. To be fair, this is probably because the simple bsky UI attracts people stupid enough to fall for this sort of thing though.
Ah, I see what you mean. The guy doing this isn't bluesky tho, I think he is some sort of dude that does this sort of thing prior to Bluesky. He's recently turned his attention to Bluesky it seems.
